From January 2010 – 2013, Bruce Campbell’s coaching expertise has played a vital role in the growth of the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter Service. Through the Coaching for A Cause Program, he has provided valuable insights and guidance to the organization, helping them navigate various challenges and achieve their goals. As a result, the business has grown and thrived under his leadership and AGL Action Rescue has now merged with LifeFlight Australia.
The chopper rescue team performs life saving rescues, runs medical and search missions and saves lives throughout South East Queensland. The rescue crew is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and has served the community for over 30 years. It wasn’t until a family member of Bruces was in a serious accident and the helicopter transported her to a Brisbane hospital, that he truly understood the importance of the service and gave Bruce a greater appreciation of their existence and felt the need to give back.
Working with this team gave Bruce an insight on not-for-profit organisations, the importance of communication and the absolute necessity of rescue service.
